Responsibilities

An opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Superintendent for a residential position based in Karratha, Western Australia. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Planners, Coordinators and indirectly responsibility for Technicians to execute preventative and corrective maintenance on site. The Maintenance Superintendent will support the Maintenance Manager in developing the Maintenance teams competence ensuring a fully operational and skilled team, prepared for routine operations, emergencies, start-ups, shutdowns and projects.

Profile

• Degree qualification in Engineering • Member of Institute of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) • Minimum of 10 years within a position in the chemical/petrochemical industry, preferably in an Ammonia or Methanol Plant or Fertilizer/Technical Ammonia Nitrate production environment. • Minimum 5 years demonstrated supervisory/management experience • Strong SAP skills are a distinct advantage and Intermediate/Advanced MS Office suite experience • Team player, self-motivated, adaptable and committed. • Must be fluent in English, written and oral
