Junior Sales Manager Ammonia & Nitric Acid (m/w)

About the Unit

With over 2 million tons of annual sales Base Chemicals is the leading Business Unit in Yara’s Industrial organization. To strengthen the sales team in one of its main markets: Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D-A-CH region); Yara is looking for a Junior Sales Manager Ammonia & Nitric Acid. He / She will be responsible for all relevant sales and marketing tasks towards a selected customer portfolio and develop new opportunities for Yara within his/her region . The Junior Sales Manager Ammonia & Nitric Acid reports to the Sales Manager Base Chemicals within this area.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the business plan and fulfill related KPI’s set by the management
  • Management of Yara’s customers in the Ammonia and Nitric Acid segments
  • Manage and develop present and new added-value product applications
  • Regular analysis of customer profitability and implementation of customer segmentation
  • Continuous update on all relevant customer and market information via CRM system
  • P&L responsibilities in your area, with emphasis on long term collaboration with our customers
  • Monthly reporting of actual performance in sales volumes, CB1, EBITDA, monthly forecast, and other relevant issues
  • Strict appliance of HESQ and Ethics & Compliance regulations

Profile

  • Degree in Chemistry, Business or other related Business field
  • Knowledge (at least 3 years) of Sales within the Chemical industry
  • Management of relationships and coordination activities with regional and international clients
  • Commitment to results and problem-solving attitude
  • Team player with an optimistic attitude
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively
  • Good IT skills (Windows Office, SAP, CRM, Social Media, Web searches, etc...)
